It is with a heavy heart to announce that we have decided to postpone the Tarek Leahy Chicot (TLC) Camp until further notice due to the wildfire currently burning near Kakisa.
This program is incredibly important to Northern Youth Leadership (NYL) and K'ágee Tue / Ka'a'gee Tu First Nation (KTFN), and it breaks our hearts to delay it. However, the safety and well-being of the community, our participants, mentors, and staff must come first, and we believe this is the most responsible course of action.
We kindly ask that you keep KTFN in your thoughts, hearts, spiritual requests, and prayers as they work to protect their community from the wildfire. We remain committed to making the TLC Camp a meaningful and rewarding experience for everyone involved, and we look forward to coming together in the near future.
