NYL is looking for a motivated, collaborative program coordinator with outdoor leadership and administrative skills. This job will require you to reside in Yellowknife, NWT. The anticipated start date is in the first week of March.

The NYL Steering Committee is responsible for overall leadership of Northern Youth Leadership, including oversight of the Project Director. They also assist with the guidance, development, and delivery of programming. The Steering Committee meets on average 7 times a year (meetings of 1-2 hours in duration) and one 1-2 day strategic planning workshop typically held in the winter. Additional opportunities for members include joining sub-committees focusing on specific issues and tasks, and being on-call during camp programming as a member of the Incident Command system.
