This summer, Northern Youth will partner with the Gana River Lodge to offer a cultural camp for girls ages 11-17. Gana River Lodge is located in the Sahtu Region of the Northwest Territories in the Mackenzie Mountains near the border of the NWT and Yukon. The girls will canoe, fish, hike, and learn traditional methods of trapping, sewing and beading.
There are only 10 spots available for girls from across the Northwest Territories so sign up today to guarantee your daughter’s spot. Registration costs $100, which covers travel, accommodation, and supplies. For more information email Jill at [email protected] or give her a call at 867-445-4558.
