East Arm Fishing Adventure
After two successful winter fishing camps, Northern Youth is partnering once again with Shawn Buckley, a third generation commercial fisherman from Hay River for the 2014 East Arm Fishing Adventure. Boys will learn about commercial fishing and Shawn’s life growing up on Great Slave Lake with his family. Other activities such as hiking and swimming will also take place.
Applications from boys ages 11-17 are now being accepted for the camp. This camp costs only $100 which covers transportation, accommodation, food, etc! There are 10 spots available and are on a first come-first serve basis.
Northern Youth camps are open to ALL youth from every region of the Northwest Territories and we welcome applications from every community.
